An active freelance and chamber musician, bassoonist Kiyo Kojima performs regularly with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, Mercury Season, Mercury Orkestar, New Atlanta Philharmonic, Atlanta Ballet, Cobb Symphony, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and several orchestras in New York State, Indiana, Washington State, and Japan.

Kiyo received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and continued his studies at the Indiana University School of Music. His primary teachers include Kim Walker, Andrew Barnes, John Hunt, and Daniel Worley. During the summer months, Kiyo has attended the Eastern Music and Aspen Music Festivals.

In addition to his freelance work, Kiyo has been a dedicated private instructor and outreach clinician throughout his career.
